"My pet peeve is the batteries. I've got one system where I've got to change the batteries out every time it's fired. In another one, I've got to plug in this charger, then plug the charger into a panel. Isn't there a simpler way to do this?"

Fireworks A simple solution: Rechargeable modules, with chargers built into their travel cases. Since each module is independently powered with a new battery technology that has more lifetime, power density, and recharge cycles than any other, the only thing missing is the recharger. To simplify things, the charger is built into the Pelican travel cases for the modules. Just plug in the entire case the night before the show and you're good to go. A status LED on each module shows it's properly receiving charge current, and another indicator shows when it's fully charged.
