While Firelinx has chosen the most robust antenna connector in the industry, the N-type connector, antennas do break if handled improperly. We always recommend having extras. If an antenna breaks and there is no replacement available, remember that the 2Wire Communications system on the Command Module and Firing Modules can be used as an alternate backup plan.
